How to Set Up Facebook Login in SureDash: A Step-by-Step Guide
In today’s digital world, users expect a seamless, secure, and hassle-free login experience. SureDash supports both traditional username-password login and social login options, including Google and Facebook.
Enabling Facebook Login on your SureDash portal enhances user convenience, speeds up onboarding, and adds an extra layer of security. To integrate Facebook Login, you first need to create a Facebook App ID using the Meta for Developers platform.
This guide walks you through the steps to set up Facebook Login, generate a Facebook App ID, and integrate it into your SureDash settings.

Step 1: Create a Facebook App
To enable Facebook Login, you need to create a Facebook App through the Meta for Developers portal.
- Go to Facebook for Developers.
- Log in with your Facebook account.
- Click My Apps (top right) and then select Create App.
- Enter your App Name and App Contact Email.
- Click Create App and complete any security verification.
Step 2: Enable Facebook Login
- Inside your newly created app, navigate to the Dashboard.
- Click Set Up under Facebook Login.
- Choose Web as the platform.
- Enter your SureDash website URL.
- Click Save and navigate back to the app settings.
Step 3: Configure OAuth Settings
- In the left menu, go to Settings → Basic.
- Locate App ID and App Secret—you’ll need these for SureDash.
- Navigate to Facebook Login → Settings.
- Enable Client OAuth Login and Web OAuth Login.
- Under Valid OAuth Redirect URIs, add the following URL:
- https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=suredash-settings
- Click Save Changes.
Step 4: Get Your Facebook App Credentials
- Go to Settings → Basic in your Facebook App.
- Copy your App ID and App Secret.
- Keep this page open—you’ll need to enter these credentials into SureDash.

Click on the Show option on the same field, and you will be asked to log in to see the App Secret Key.
Step 5: Add Facebook Credentials to SureDash
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to SureDash → Settings → Social Login.
- Under Facebook Login, enter your Token ID and Token Secret.
- Click Save.
Step 6: Test Facebook Login
- Open your SureDash login page.
- Click Login with Facebook.
- If configured correctly, Facebook will prompt you to authorize access.
- Approve the request, and you’ll be logged into SureDash.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure your App ID and App Secret are correctly entered in SureDash.
- Double-check the OAuth Redirect URI in your Facebook app settings.
- Make sure your app is Live in the Facebook Developer portal (under App Mode).
