How to Add Google reCAPTCHA in SureDash
To protect your SureDash login and registration forms from bots and spam, you can enable Google reCAPTCHA. SureDash supports both v2 and v3, so you can choose what works best for your site.
reCAPTCHA helps ensure that only real users (not bots) can log in or sign up on your site.
Steps to Enable reCAPTCHA on SureDash
- Go to the Google reCAPTCHA setup page.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Fill in the form:
- Label: Give your site a name.
- reCAPTCHA Type: Choose either:
- v2 – “I’m not a robot” checkbox or Invisible,
- v3 – background protection, no interaction needed.
- Domains: Add your website domain (e.g., yourdomain.com)
- Accept the Terms of Service and click Submit.
- You’ll get a Site Key and Secret Key.
Add the Keys to SureDash Settings
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Go to SureDash → Settings.
- Click the Login/Registration tab.
- Scroll down to the Google reCAPTCHA section.
- Enter the keys of reCAPTCHA v2 or v3, depending on what you registered.
- Paste in the Site Key you copied earlier.
- Click Save Changes.
reCAPTCHA is now protecting your login and registration forms in SureDash.
If you’d like to switch between v2 and v3 or update your keys, you can always revisit this setting.
