SureDash v1.3.0 Release Compatibility Notes

In SureDash version 1.3.0, we introduced several exciting updates, including the Resource Library, Global Colour Palettes, the Colour Switcher block, and many other improvements.

For existing users, here are some important compatibility notes for this version:

• Global Colour Palette Case:
  • For existing users, if the Colour Switcher block fails to load on the frontend due to the “Global colour palette missing” error, follow the steps here to fix the issue.
• Global Colour Palette Case:
  • To make sure your portal template is synced correctly with colours from the Global Colour Palette:
  • Follow the migration steps mentioned here.
  • For the updated template layout, either:
    • Reset the template as explained here, or
    • Manually link colours to your blocks.
• Course Page Layout Changes
  • If you’ve created course pages using the block editor or any page builder, these designs will be removed as part of the new course layout update.
  • To provide a brief about your course to community members, you can now make use of the Space Description field.
