Hidden Spaces in SureDash

SureDash continues to evolve to help you build cleaner, more organized communities. One of the latest additions is the Hidden Spaces feature. This allows you to create Spaces that are active but not visible on the main sidebar. It’s a handy option for private content, exclusive resources, or areas you want to link only from specific locations, like user profiles.

Let’s walk you through how to set up Hidden Spaces in your community.

How to Create a Hidden Space

Follow these quick steps to add a Hidden Space:

  • Click on + Add New Space under the Space Group where you want this Hidden Space to be listed at the backend.
  • In the popup screen, enter the Space Name and turn ON the toggle for Hidden Space. You can also manage this later for existing Spaces.
  • Select the Space Content Type and click on Continue.
  • Enter your Space details and publish your Space.
  • Once published, this Space will not appear on the sidebar. It’s hidden, but it is Live and accessible through direct links.
  • After creating the Space, you have the option to manage the Space Hidden from the Sidebar. Also, there’s an option to Hide them from the Search Results as well.

Linking Hidden Spaces to User Profiles or Links to Your Spaces

Even though Hidden Spaces won’t appear on the sidebar, you can link them to user profiles for easy access:

  • Go to SureDash > Settings > User Category > Profile Menu > Add Link.
  • Add a link to your Hidden Space here so users can access it directly from their profile area.

Hidden Spaces give you extra control over what content shows up on your community sidebar and what stays tucked away. Whether you need private Spaces for specific users or simply want a clean sidebar, this feature helps you manage your community layout more effectively.

We hope you find this feature helpful as you continue building your SureDash community! Feel free to reach out to our Support team if you are facing any issues.
