Kadence Theme Compatibility with SureDash
We’re excited to share that SureDash now supports the Kadence theme! This update ensures that your Portal works smoothly even when your site is built using Kadence.
While adding this compatibility, our team noticed that Kadence’s global styles and CSS can sometimes conflict with how the Portal looks and behaves. To provide the best experience, we’ve made a few adjustments behind the scenes.
What We Changed
To prevent design or layout conflicts, SureDash now disables certain Kadence CSS files inside the Portal area.
This makes sure your Portal pages look clean, consistent, and aligned with the SureDash design system.
Known Limitations
Because of these changes, a few Kadence styling features may not work inside the Portal:
- The Kadence color palette will not apply automatically to Portal elements.
- Some layout and spacing settings from Kadence might not show as expected inside the Portal.
- Kadence blocks that depend heavily on theme styles may look slightly different when viewed in the Portal.
Workarounds
If you’d like to match your Kadence site styling inside the Portal, here are a few options:
- Set up custom colors using the Portal’s own appearance settings.
- Add custom CSS inside the Portal settings to replicate specific Kadence styles.
- Keep Kadence’s design active on your main website pages, while letting the Portal maintain its own optimized layout.
Why We Took This Approach
Kadence regularly updates its theme files, and some of those changes could affect how the Portal displays.
By controlling which Kadence CSS loads, we help ensure that your Portal remains stable and visually consistent, even after future updates.
In Summary
SureDash is now compatible with the Kadence theme, giving you more flexibility when building your community or member area.
While a few Kadence styling options may not fully apply inside the Portal, these adjustments help maintain performance, design consistency, and a smooth user experience.
You can still personalize your Portal easily using custom colors or CSS for a look that fits your brand.
