How to Manage Navigation Sidebar Top Sticky Offset in SureDash

If you notice that your navigation sidebar sticks too close to the top or overlaps with other elements like the header, you can easily adjust it using the Sidebar Top Offset setting.

Why this matters:

Adjusting the top sticky offset ensures the sidebar doesn’t overlap with your site’s header or other fixed elements. It improves spacing and makes your navigation easier to use.

Steps to Adjust Sidebar Top Sticky Offset

  • Go to SureDash > Customize Portal from your WordPress dashboard.
  • Click on Document Overview.
  • Select the Classic Layout tab.
  • Under the layout settings, look for the Sidebar Top Offset option.
  • Adjust the value as needed (e.g., 80 for 80px offset from the top).
  • Save your changes.

Pro Tip:

If your site header height changes on scroll or if you use sticky headers, you may need to tweak the value until the spacing looks just right on all screen sizes.
