How to Set Up Your SureDash Homepage
Your SureDash portal gives you full control over what your community members see first when they land on your portal. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the different options available to set up your SureDash homepage and how to choose the one that best suits your needs.
Homepage Options in SureDash
SureDash offers three simple options to control what appears as the homepage of your portal:
1. Default
The Default option shows the standard SureDash portal layout with your Spaces neatly arranged. By default, your members will see the dashboard view with three Spaces displayed in each row, making it easy to explore different Spaces right from the homepage.
2. Feeds
Want to keep your community updated and engaged? Choose Feeds as your homepage.
With this option, your homepage will display the latest Feed Posts, similar to a social feed. Members can instantly catch up on announcements, updates, or conversations happening in your community.
Example:
If you frequently share posts, announcements, or updates with your members, the Feeds option keeps them front and center.
3. First Space
Selecting the First Space option means the first Space on your dashboard will be shown as the homepage. This is a great option if you want to direct your members to a specific Space immediately after they enter the portal, such as an important Discussion Space or a Welcome Space.
Set Your Entire Site Homepage to SureDash Portal
Apart from choosing the portal homepage layout, you can also set the SureDash Portal itself as your site’s homepage. Here’s how:
- Go to SureDash > Settings > Community in your WordPress dashboard.
- Find the option Set Portal as Homepage.
- Enable this option and Save the settings.
Once enabled, anyone visiting your site will land directly on your SureDash portal.
That’s it! With SureDash, you have full flexibility to set the perfect homepage experience for your community. Whether you want to showcase your Spaces, keep members updated with Feeds, or guide them straight to a specific Space, it’s all just a few clicks away.
