How to Fix the “Global Color Palette Missing” Message

When you open your portal for the first time after the 1.3.0 release, you may see a message at the top:

Global Color Palette missing – Select Light or Dark Mode

This happens when the Default Color Palette for your portal hasn’t been set yet. You can easily fix it by following these steps.

Steps to Fix the Issue

  1. Go to Customize Portal > SureDash Panel > Design Settings > Colors tab.
  2. At the top, you’ll see a Migrate Notice.
  3. You have two options to resolve this: Option 1 – Use Migrate
    • Click on Migrate.
    • Then click Save Settings to automatically apply the default global palette.
    Option 2 – Set Manually
    • Under Select Default Palette, choose either Light Mode or Dark Mode.
    • Click on Save Settings to confirm your choice.
  4. Once saved, the message will disappear, and your portal will load with the selected default palette.

Conclusion

By selecting a default palette or using the migrate option, you ensure that your SureDash portal has a consistent and seamless appearance. Once the settings are saved, the “Global Color Palette Missing” message will no longer appear, and your portal will load correctly with the chosen design.
