How to Edit SureDash Space or Post with Any Page Builder

You can use your favorite WordPress page builders like Divi or Bricks to design and edit SureDash Spaces, Community Posts, and Community Content. This guide will help you set things up so your page builder works smoothly with SureDash.

Most page builders do not support custom post types by default. You need to manually enable support from the builder’s settings.

What You Need to Do

  • Open your page builder’s settings from the WordPress dashboard.
  • Look for the Post Types or Custom Post Types section in the builder settings.
  • Make sure the following are enabled:
    • Portal Spaces – to build Spaces using your page builder
    • Community Posts – to build the SureDash Community Posts
    • Community Content – to build lessons and other learning content

Here’s a screenshot showing where to find this setting:

  • Go to your WordPress dashboard and open the Space, Community Post, or Community Content you want to edit.
  • Important: You must first publish the content/post in the SureDash space area. Page builders only show up properly for published items.
  • After publishing, open the item using the WordPress editor.
  • Make sure the WordPress editor is enabled for that item. If the editor is hidden or replaced, the page builder button may not appear.

Please note that the “Edit in Full Screen” mode works for Bricks, Divi.

For Elementor page builder, you can simply click on the Edit with Elementor on the popup and you can add your content.

  • Once inside the WordPress editor, click on the highlighted edit button as shown below to see the “Edit with [Page Builder]” button on the next page.

  • Click the “Edit with [Page Builder]” button to launch your builder and start designing.

By enabling post type support and using the WordPress editor in full screen, you can easily use any page builder like Divi or Bricks to edit SureDash content. Whether it’s a Space, a Community Post, or a lesson, you’ll be able to design it the way you want. If you need any help, our support team is just a message away.
